SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...
WWE signee Bin Wang will be making his official in-ring debut on September 10 when WWE tours Shanghai, China.
WWE set up Bo Dallas as Wang’s debut opponent on the tour.
Wang signed with WWE as part of the company’s big China initiative, including a try-out camp to sign the first official wrestler from China.
The event on Sept. 10 is also scheduled to feature John Cena along with the Raw roster. It’s the same weekend that the Smackdown brand has their first standalone PPV on Sept. 11, therefore Cena is not advertised for the PPV.
Cena has been positioned as WWE’s top main roster ambassador to China as the company tries to expand its reach into a major international market.
