Former NXT champion Samoa Joe updated his injury status following the main event of “NXT Takeover: Brooklyn” Saturday night.
Joe confirmed that his jaw was dislocated during the NXT Title match, appearing to be the result of Shinsuke Nakamura landing a knee to the face.
Joe said his jaw was “shortly relocated” and he is “looking forward to being cleared soon.”
WWE has NXT TV tapings this Thursday back at Full Sail University in Florida. Joe is in line for an eventual NXT Title re-match against Nakamura.
