SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...
Jay Lethal is no longer ROH World champion.
Adam Cole captured the ROH Title from Lethal in the main event of Ring of Honor’s “Death Before Dishonor” PPV from Las Vegas on Friday night.
The epic, 24-minute title match ended with the story of Cole throwing Lethal off his game by making things personal, allowing Cole to hit his finisher twice to secure a three count on Lethal.
This ended Lethal’s year-plus title reign that started back at “Best in the World” in June 2015.
This is Cole’s second ROH Title reign. Cole won the title nearly three years ago, then lost to Michael Elgin at “Best in The World” 2014.
