There is no question anymore of whether WWE will be running an angle at Summerslam where Eva Marie does not wrestle, like the past few weeks on Smackdown Live.
Eva Marie has been suspended 30 days for violating WWE’s Wellness Policy, the company announced Thursday, taking her off the Summerslam line-up.
Eva’s suspension is effective immediately on Thursday, joining Alberto Del Rio and Paige, whose suspensions were announced Wednesday and became effective Thursday.
WWE’s official statement reads: “WWE has suspended Natalie Coyle (Eva Marie) for 30 days effective immediately for her first violation of the company’s talent wellness policy.”
WWE now has to find a replacement for Eva in a six-woman tag match scheduled for the Summerslam PPV.
WWE made the announcement shortly after Pro Wrestling Sheet broke the news.
