WWE announced Wednesday evening that Paige has been suspended 30 days for a Wellness Policy violation.
WWE’s statement reads: “WWE has suspended Saraya-Jade Bevis (Paige) for 30 days effective tomorrow, Thursday, Aug. 18, for her first violation of the company’s talent wellness policy.”
Earlier in the day, WWE announced the suspension of Alberto Del Rio, who has been in a dating relationship with Paige.
The date of the announcement (August 17) is also Paige’s birthday. She was tweeting birthday messages up until a few hours before WWE’s announcement.
