Former WWE women’s wrestling star Mickie James is heading to the SHIMMER promotion later this year.
SHIMMER announced Friday that Mickie will debut during SHIMMER 86 Weekend on November 11 and 12.
The full weekend is November 11-13 with tickets going on-sale this weekend.
The Nov. 11 and 12 shows will be at Logan Square Auditorium in Chicago and the Nov. 13 show will be at the Eagles Club in Berwyn, Ill.
SHIMMER’s full announcement reads: “Mickie has been a key figure in women’s pro wrestling for the past 15 years, helping to lay the groundwork for the rise of women’s wrestling on the independent scene during the early 2000’s, and then appearing on worldwide television shortly thereafter. On Nov. 11 and 12, we look forward to celebrating the 11th anniversary of SHIMMER by finally adding Mickie James to the list of amazing competitors who have wrestled on our events!”
