Chris Jericho replacing Edge at pre-Summerslam event

Aug. 3 Update: Chris Jericho is replacing Edge at a pre-Summerslam Event on Sunday, August 21 in New York City.

Jericho will be joined by Christian for a live recording of the “Talk is Jericho” podcast. The event, which includes a Q&A and photo-ops, runs from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Carolines on Broadway.

Aug. 1 Update: Edge (Adam Copeland) announced Monday that he will no longer be appearing a big signing with Christian on Summerslam Sunday, August 21.

Copeland said his schedule “has had to change almost entirely” in the last few weeks and he had to cancel his part of the appearance.

Christian is still scheduled “hopefully with some surprises in store” to replace Copeland.

Edge & Christian are getting together for a rare non-WWE autograph appearance on Summerslam Sunday.

Billed as Adam Copeland and Jay Reso, the former tag champs are scheduled for Carolines on Broadway in New York City from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 21.

Edge & Christian are scheduled for live Q&A, autographs, and photo-ops throughout the three-hour block. The advertised ticket package price is $149.99.

WWE’s Summerslam PPV then takes place in Brooklyn, N.Y. later in the day.
