SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

The final tally is in for Lucha Underground’s “Ultima Lucha Dos” three-part series airing in July on El Rey Network.

The total audience grew each week, culminating with a total of 221,000 viewers (live + replay + DVR) for the third episode, up 19 percent from Week 2 and up 36 percent from Week 1.

Worth noting is the total audience for Week 3 benefited from being a two-hour show, as opposed to the regular one-hour episodes for Weeks 1 and 2.

That showed up in the DVR figures. Week 3 drew 41,000 DVR viewers, nearly doubling Week 2’s DVR audience. It was the second-most DVR viewers for an individual episode this year.

The total audience of 221k viewers ranked #8 out of 26 episodes in Season 2. LU drew larger audiences in the first quarter of the year, then dropped off in the second quarter, creating a downward trend before the conclusion.
