SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...
WWE unveiled new logos for the Raw and Smackdown brands Friday afternoon on Twitter.
For the Raw brand, WWE went for a dull red color, “RAW” spelled out in evenly-sized block text, and the “W” almost looking like an upside down M. WWE added a solid red bar beneath “RAW” to position the text.
Meanwhile, Smackdown has the look of a racing logo implying speed and quickness. The italicized/slanted “Smackdown Live” text is stacked in blue and white, moving away from just blue text.
Raw GM Mick Foley and Smackdown GM Daniel Bryan announced the new logos on Twitter.
