Latest line-up for WWE at MSG Saturday – six-man tag added

July 12 – Fourth Line-up

Madison Square Garden has released the latest line-up for Saturday’s WWE return show to New York City.

Added to the mix is New Day vs. The Wyatts in a six-man tag match.

Still scheduled is Chris Jericho vs. Neville, who has not returned to TV since suffering an injury in March.

• WWE World Hvt. Title match: Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins
  • (replaces Reigns vs. Rollins)
• John Cena vs. A.J. Styles – first time at MSG
• Street Fight: Chris Jericho vs. Neville
• WWE tag champions New Day vs. Bray Wyatt & The Wyatts in a six-man tag match
• Additional wrestlers scheduled to appear:

  • The Club (Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson)

June 22 – Third Line-up

As noted Wednesday morning, Roman Reigns has been pulled from the next month of live events while serving a 30-day suspension. That includes WWE’s return to Madison Square Garden in New York City on July 16.

On Wednesday evening, MSG released WWE’s new line-up replacing Reigns on the card.

• WWE World Title match: Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins
  • (replaces Reigns vs. Rollins)
• John Cena vs. A.J. Styles (same as before)
• Street Fight: Chris Jericho vs. Neville
  • previously Jericho vs. Ambrose

May 31 – Second Line-up

MSG has released a new line-up for WWE’s return to New York City on Saturday, July 16 for a house show.

Included is a new WWE World Hvt. Title match of Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins. The main event was originally Reigns vs. A.J. Styles.

Now, Styles has been shifted to a big singles match against John Cena.

MSG is advertising both Reigns-Rollins and Styles-Cena as “first-time-ever matches” at MSG.

The one match staying the same is Dean Ambrose vs. Chris Jericho. Now, the match is advertised as a Street Fight.

Interestingly, Ric Flair is still advertised for the show with Women’s champion Charlotte, who sent him packing last week on Raw.

One wrestler removed from the original line-up is Stardust (a/k/a Cody Rhodes, who asked to be released from the company earlier this month).
