The Rock heading to Hollywood Walk of Fame

“The Rock” Dwayne Johnson headlines the 2017 class of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, adding a new honor to Rock’s collection.

Rock was nominated for the category of motion pictures with the likes of Goldie Hawn, Ryan Reynolds, Jason Bateman, and Mark Ruffalo.

The class also includes notable TV stars such as Tyra Banks, Eva Longoria, and Jeffrey Tambor. Plus, Hall & Oates, John Legend, and NSync are nominated for the music category.

“The Walk of Fame Selection Committee looked carefully at each nominee and we feel that we have selected a great group of talent that will appeal to the tastes of many fans around the world,” stated TV producer Di Bona, chair of the Walk of Fame Selection Committee.
