(1) Rysuke Taguchi beat David Finlay.

(2) Tomohiro Ishii & Sakuraba & RPG Vice (Rocky Romero & Trent Baretta) beat Nakanishi & Jushin Liger & Tiger Mask IV & Captain New Japan. Ishii pinned the poor Captain, who sold frustration after the match.

(3) Kojima & Matt Sydal & Yoshitatsu beat Bullet Club (Chase Owens & Adam Page & Yujiro Takahashi) in a six-man tag match. Kojima pinned Owens via lariat, then Bullet Club put a beat down on the winners. Page hung Yoshi “Bullet Club Hunter” Tatsu over the top rope with his noose.

New Japan announced the 2016 G1 Climax field.

(4) Tenzan & Shibata & Yuji Nagata beat Togi Makabe & Honma & Juice Robinson in a six-man tag match. Shibata-Honma heated up before their NEVER Openweight Title match on July 3.

After the match, Tenzan cut a promo expressing anger that he will not be in the G1 Climax tournament this year.

(5) CHAOS (YOSHI-HASHI & Hirooki Goto) beat L.I.J. (Sanada & EVIL).

(6) L.I.J. (Naito & BUSHI) beat CHAOS (IWGP World Hvt. champion Kazuchika Okada & Will Ospreay) in the main event.

After the match, Bushi declared that he will be in the Super J Cup that begins on July 20.
