Local government officials in Alberta, Canada dropped charges against Teddy Hart stemming from a 2014 arrest, reports Global News.
Hart was accused of assault and unlawful confinement of two women. After a lengthy legal process, the charges were dropped by the Alberta Justice department.
A spokesperson said upon review of the accusations, the case “did not meet criteria needed to proceed.”
“Teddy has had this fog of charges over him for a year-and-a-half,” said Hart’s attorney Kent Teskey. “He’s relieved and looks forward to getting back to work.”
Hart is trying to take independent bookings again, is planning to start a wrestling school in Los Angeles, and has a documentary scheduled for release this year.
