SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...
Former WWE star Cody Rhodes put out a list Saturday on Twitter identifying wrestlers to face and accomplishments to complete in his post-WWE career.
The tweet reads “After 8/19,” implying Rhodes will be free of his WWE contract after a three-month no-compete period.
Included on the list are several notable items covering the independents, New Japan, TNA, ROH, and other promotions:
- BOLA (PWG’s annual Battle of Los Angeles tournament)
- Shibata (New Japan’s hard-hitting, no-nonsense “The Wrestler.”)
- Angle (presumably Kurt Angle)
- The Young Bucks
- Adam Cole
- Dalton Castle
- Moose
- Roderick Strong
- Hero (presumably Chris Hero)
- TNA X Division champion Trevor Lee
- “The Miracle” (presumably TNA’s Mike Bennett)
- Pat Buck
- The streamers thing
- Personal ring announcer
