Raw Result – what’s next for A.J. Styles after Extreme Rules? (w/Videos)

After losing the WWE World Title match to Roman Reigns at Extreme Rules, A.J. Styles “dumped” The Club members Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows.

The storyline was that Styles partially blamed Karl & Doc for him not winning the WWE Title from Reigns at Sunday’s PPV, saying if they did not get involved in the match, it would not have drawn out The Usos.

Karl & Doc sold not being pleased with Styles, who acted defiant that this is his ring now. Styles then went on to lose a MITB qualifying match against Kevin Owens in the Raw TV main event.

The announcers played up Styles becoming increasingly frustrated having “phenomenal matches” the last two nights, but losing both matches.

It sets up a new chapter for Angry A.J. after his two WWE Title shots against Reigns at Payback and Extreme Rules.
