2/25 WWE NXT in Orlando, Fla. – Balor & Bayley team against Joe & Jax in main event, plus #1 contender tag match

(1) Apollo Crews beat Manny Andrade. Very strong opening match with a lot of high-impact moves and some nearfalls. Crews won by pinfall.

(2) Aliyah & Liv Morgan beat Billie Kay & Peyton Royce. A lot of action from Aliyah and Billie Kay to start with. Both teams played their parts well and Liv Morgan was very popular. She eventually got the pinfall.

(3) Levis Valenzuela (an NXT recruit from 2015) beat Chris Girard (Biff Busick). Long match with back-and-forth action and some attempted submissions by Girard. Valenzuela got the fall.

We then moved into a short segment from Hugo Knox, telling the crowd he was going to become a more serious player in NXT and took on a more arrogant role.

There was then a four-way tag team elimination to decide the number #1 contenders to take on NXT tag champs The Revival at the next show. The contenders were The Vaudevillains, Enzo & Cass (with Carmella), Blake and Murphy (with Alexa), and American Alpha.

(4) American Alpha (Jason Jordan & Chad Gable) won a #1 contender tag match. A long match with all four teams getting a lot of crowd interaction…

-Enzo and Cass were eliminated first
-The Vaudevillains were eliminated second
-Gable/Jordan eventually beat Blake & Murphy via pinfall.

(5) Emma beat Daria via submission in a short match. Emma continued after the bell, but Asuka came in for the save.​​

(6) Sami Zayn beat Elias Samson. Very good match with Samson initially in charge, but Zayn came back to get the win through pinfall. Another long match but good.

In the Main Event, Finn Balor and Bayley teamed against Samoa Joe and Nia Jax.

(7) NXT champion Finn Balor & NXT Women’s champion Bayley beat Samoa Joe & Nia Jax in a mixed tag match. Unusual main event, but it worked well with Balor pinning Joe. Most of the match was Joe and Balor with some good action from Nia Jax and Bayley. After the match, Bayley and Balor danced to the theme from “Dirty Dancing.”
