SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...
In the opening segment of Monday’s Raw, WWE announced a very surprising match for WrestleMania.
The Undertaker will face … Shane McMahon in a Hell in a Cell match.
The stipulation is Shane gets control of Raw if he wins, but if he loses, he gives Vince McMahon access to a “lockbox” that contains Vince’s dirty secrets.
– An hour later, WWE announced Brock Lesnar vs. Dean Ambrose for WrestleMania in the top-of-the-second-hour segment.
The match will carry a No Holds Barred Street Fight stipulation.
WrestleMania 32 Line-up
– WWE World Hvt. Title match: Triple H vs. Roman Reigns
– The Undertaker vs. Shane McMahon in a Hell in a Cell match.
– Brock Lesnar vs. Dean Ambrose in a No Holds Barred Street Fight.
I really cannot see Undertaker destroying his WM legacy and credibility and jobbing to Shane. That whole angle is stupid. People already know that Vince is the one in charge. I like Shane and was glad to see him back but I am not happy at all about him fighting and potentially beating Undertaker at WM. I would much rather have seen him and Steph just in joint control and see them fighting over what happens in decisions. I sure hope Taker wins.
If Undertaker loses this match, we all riot.
So allow me to add here.. The undertaker who is the only guy that can essentially fight Brock and give him competition.. Will face Shane…who is over 40 non wrestler.
I swear to God I have never in my life been so embarrassed to be a WWE fan. I hope so much that they swerve and Shane is just a placeholder. This is a match made in Hell AKA Vince McMahon’s mind.
The thing that could make Everything worse is Taker coming back on TV saying: “If I can’t beat that kid I will retire.” (or go back to hell or whatever the Taker-character does)
If the match is to take Place (Shane might find a loopehole to assign a champion fighting for him saving this!) Shane vs. Taker will be overbooked crap and be a sad late chapter in Takers legacy. If he put Shane over (Clean? nah never)I guess Taker will headline HOF 2017.
