2/22 Raw TV Update – WWE runs pre-show angle with Brock & Ambrose, sets up WM32 match

UPDATE: Before Raw, WWE ran an angle involving Brock Lesnar and Dean Ambrose in the parking lot.

WWE released footage of Lesnar attacking Ambrose when he arrived at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit for Raw.

Lesnar pounded Ambrose into a vehicle, then slammed him onto the hood of a limo in the parking garage area. Ambrose was then loaded in an ambulance to continue the angle.

Raw Update: Dean Ambrose showed up in the ambulance during Raw to confront Lesnar. Ambrose got beat up again, but got a match against Lesnar at WrestleMania. It will be a No Holds Barred Street Fight.

WWE Raw TV Preview 2/22

WWE kicks off the official Road to WrestleMania Monday night in Detroit.

Already announced for the opening segment of the show is WWE revealing the recipient of the Vince McMahon, Sr. “Excellence” Award.” WWE is hyping this as an “emotional” award ceremony.

Raw will also include the first official build-up to Triple H vs. Roman Reigns for the WWE World Title at WrestleMania 32. This follows Reigns winning the #1 contender match at Fast Lane.

The other players in the #1 contender mix, Brock Lesnar and Dean Ambrose, are advertised for Raw. WWE will likely set up Lesnar’s WM32 situation as part of the fall-out from Lesnar not winning the #1 contender match.

Chris Jericho is also advertised after losing Match #3 of a recent series to A.J. Styles. Plus, IC champion Kevin Owens is advertised along with his Fast Lane opponent, Dolph Ziggler.

Related to tag teams or groups, WWE is advertising Bray Wyatt and the Wyatt Family, Big Show representing his “titans” group, WWE tag champions New Day, the Dudleys, and the League of Nations.

For the live crowd at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, WWE is advertising a big bonus main event (subject to change) of Reigns & Ambrose & Jericho vs. Sheamus & Wyatt & Kevin Owens.
