WWE NXT Live Notes

– First off, great show. The wrestlers worked very hard and seemed to really enjoy being there, which is something I have not seen in recent Raws over the past few years.
– It was quite shocking to see three women’s matches on one show and all three were worth watching, Askua is amazing to see in-person and Emma looks like a totally different person. They had a great opener.
Bayley is the female John Cena, but to another level. She has grown men wearing her headbands and t-shirts. She seemed to have so much fun in her match doing cartwheels and even breaking out the old WORM from the Too Cool days. She was so over she had the crowd in the palm of her hands and it was the loudest reaction I have ever heard for a female wrestler, there is major money in her.
After Bayley’s match against Alexa Bliss, she and injured NXT champion Finn Balor were great together. At first, you had no clue where their interaction was going. He whispered in her ear, she ran to the back, and he just had the biggest grin while everyone waited for her to come back out doing his intro. You could tell he was into it major because he reacted just like the crowd did.

– The main event three-way of Samoa Joe vs. Sami Zayn vs. Baron Corbin was excellent. I could not tell if Corbin has go-away heat or heel heat because the crowd was really on him. And of course Joe and Sami were great as well.
– Overall, a great night of just wrestling. I look forward to the chance of seeing them live again.
– No return date was announced, but they were hyping Smackdown later this month.
