12/19 WWE in L.A. – Brock Lesnar returns, Reigns vs. Sheamus

WWE returned to the Los Angeles market at the former home of the Los Angeles Lakers, The Forum, for a Saturday night house show featuring the in-ring return of Brock Lesnar.

(1) Dolph Ziggler beat The Miz with a superkick into Zig-Zag.

(2) Divas champion Charlotte & Becky Lynch & Brie Bella beat Team B.A.D. (Sasha Banks & Naomi & Tamina) in a six-Divas tag match.

(3) Ryback beat Rusev with Shell-shock.

(4) Brock Lesnar beat U.S. champion Alberto Del Rio via DQ after Rusev interfered.

(5) The Dudleys & Tommy Dreamer & Kane beat The Wyatts in an eight-man tag match.

(6) IC champion Dean Ambrose beat Kevin Owens with Dirty Deeds.

(7) WWE World Hvt. champion Roman Reigns beat Sheamus with the spear.

After the match, Reigns said this was his first WWE Title defense (of this current reign). Reigns said there’s no place better than L.A. to defend the title.

Lilian Garcia thanked the crowd for coming and wished Happy Holidays. Overall, a pretty good house show.

The arena was about 80 percent full. Top sections were mostly empty. They must have sold last-minute seats since I heard there were low sales before the event.

The next visit to SoCal is Anaheim for Raw.
