December 19, 2015
Inglewood/Los Angeles, Calif.
Report by VIP member Eric in SoCal
(1) Dolph Ziggler beat The Miz after a lengthy back-and-forth opener. Lots of nearfalls. Ziggler hit three superkicks before finishing off Miz with Zig-Zag.
(2) Divas champion Charlotte & Becky Lynch & Brie Bella beat Team B.A.D. (Sasha Banks & Naomi & Tamina) in a six-Divas tag match. Charlotte pinned Tamina after Natural Selection. Sasha, Brie, and the “Wooo” were over.
Sheamus cut a promo on-screen. He said he would get the WWE Title back in under 5:15.
(3) Ryback beat Rusev (w/Lana).
(4) Brock Lesnar (w/Paul Heyman) beat U.S. champion Alberto Del Rio via DQ after Rusev ran in. Del Rio got in some sicks and went for the armbar most of the match. Brock did his Suplex City bit and then beat Rusev and Del Rio after the match with some F5s.
[Intermission]
(5) The Dudleys & Tommy Dreamer & Kane beat The Wyatts in an eight-man tag match. Wazzzup spot and 3D from The Dudleys (no tables). Kane pinned Erick Rowan with a chokeslam.
(6) IC champion Dean Ambrose beat Kevin Owens. Owens came out to “Fight Owens Fight” and “Kill Steen Kill” from the PWG fans. Ambrose came out to a big pop, too. Ambrose came out of a pop-up powerbomb into Dirty Deeds for the pin. Best match of the night. The adult males sided with Owens.
The fans in #WWELA got treated to some #AirAmbrose at the #LAForum! https://t.co/Qo8No9stG7

As with Ambrose, the kids & ladies were huge supporters of Roman Reigns, who entered from the concourse. My son’s night was made when he got a fist bump from the champ.
(7) WWE World Hvt. champion Roman Reigns beat Sheamus to retain the WWE Title. Dueling chants of “Let’s Go Roman/Roman Sucks” and a fairly prolonged “C.M. Punk” chant. Very little attention paid to Sheamus. Reigns went for a spear, but ran into a Brogue Kick for a long two count. Sheamus went for another, but got speared for the three count.
The arena looked to be about 85 percent full based on the available seats that were used. It was the first wrestling show at The Forum in 20 years. The last wrestling event I saw here was from WCW.
