12/10 Smackdown Ratings – slow climb back to respectability

WWE’s Thursday night show is continuing a slow climb back to respectability after getting put in a turkey suit two weeks ago on Thanksgiving Night.

December 10: Thursday’s show scored a 1.55 rating, improving on a 1.49 rating last week, which followed a poor 1.15 rating on Thanksgiving.

Prior to Thanksgiving, Smackdown scored 1.62 and 1.64 ratings.

– Smackdown drew 2.133 million viewers, up four percent from 2.044 million viewers last week.

Overall this fall TV season, Smackdown has averaged 2.105 million viewers, placing this week’s episode in-line with the average.

Smackdown then added 150,000 DVR views to bring the total to 2.283 million total viewers, about even with 2.275 million total viewers last week.

– In this week’s key demographics, Smackdown was flat with last week’s show. Males 18-34 was slightly up, while males 18-49 was slightly down. Both were in-line with the seasonal average.
