This week’s edition of TNA Impact dipped in total viewers Wednesday night on Destination America. Also, the late-night replay did not seem to be affected by losing the ROH TV bridge.
TNA Impact Ratings Tracking
– December 2: Impact drew 221,000 first-run viewers, down from 234k last week.
The midnight EST replay/West Coast airing then drew 73,000 viewers, which is close to 76k last week when there was an ROH TV bridge at 11:00 p.m. Dest. America aired an episode of “Mountain Monsters” in-between Impact airings.
TNA’s total audience was 294,000 viewers, down from 310,000 viewers last Wednesday.
Dest. America is looking to move on from wrestling once their deal with TNA expires at the end of the year. And, Impact is ending the run not being the #1 show on Dest. America.
Looking at the past week, Impact’s first-run airing was outdrawn by “Full Throttle” on Tuesday night with 261,000 viewers and an episode of “Railroad Alaska” on Saturday.
– Demographics: Impact’s median age was 58.0 years-old, the oldest audience this year on Dest. America. The late-night replay drew a younger audience of 49.2 years-old.
Because the first-run audience was much older, Impact only drew 54,000 viewers (24 percent) within the adults 18-49 demographic. This was the fewest a18-49 viewers since moving to Wednesday nights.
The demographic split was not much better. Impact drew 91 percent males 18-49 and 9 percent females 18-49. The 91/9 split is the narrowest since August 12.
