SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...
Former Raw GM Brad Maddox has been released from his contract, WWE announced Wednesday.
“WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Superstar Brad Maddox as of Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2015. WWE wishes Maddox the best in all of his future endeavors,” WWE said.
Maddox was released the day before Thanksgiving. Ironically, Maddox’s last notable appearance was wearing a turkey suit taking a Tombstone Piledriver from The Undertaker on the “Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon earlier this month.
Prior to his release, Maddox worked the Smackdown TV taping Tuesday night in Indianapolis. Maddox appeared in a pre-taping dark match, losing to R-Truth. Prior to the match, Maddox cut a promo running down the Indianapolis Colts and QB Andrew Luck.
So the strange odyssey of Brad Maddox ends. Of the many gimmicks he tried out in dark matches/house shows, liked the idea of poet character.

Anyone notice a co-relation? No Maddox on TV = low ratings.
