2016 TV Line-up – big changes, new timeslots


SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

2016 will bring another round of TV wrestling changes, like in 2015.

The following is a break down of the new 2016 TV line-up:

WWE Raw: staying the same Monday nights at 8:00 p.m. EST on USA Network.

WWE Smackdown: moving from Syfy to USA Network, staying on Thursday nights at 8:00 p.m. EST. Premiere date is Thursday, January 7.

TNA Impact: leaving Destination America for Pop TV. The timeslot change is Wednesday nights to Tuesdays at 9:00 p.m. EST. Premiere date is Tuesday, January 5.

ROH TV: leaving Destination America; moving to over-the-air “Comet TV.” ROH TV will remain on Wednesday nights, airing at midnight EST/11:00 p.m. CST. Premiere date is December 2. Plus, air in syndication through Sinclair Broadcasting and independent deals.

New Japan TV: staying the same Friday nights at 8:00 or 9:00 p.m. EST on AXS TV.

Championship Wrestling from Hollywood: staying the same – Saturdays at 4:00 p.m. PST on local KDOC-TV in Los Angeles and midnight EST/9:00 p.m. PST on Youtoo America.

Paragon Pro: leaving Pop TV; will air across multiple networks including Tuff TV on Wednesday nights, Youtoo America, Fight Net, and WADL-TV in Detroit.

ROW Wrestling: In September, Booker T’s promotion shifted to the CW in Houston on Sunday mornings at 11:00 a.m.

– Mondays: WWE Raw on USA Network.

– Tuesdays: TNA Impact on Pop TV.

– Wednesdays: ROH TV on Comet TV; Paragon Pro on Tuff TV.

– Thursdays: WWE Smackdown on USA Network.

– Fridays: New Japan on AXS TV.

– Weekends: ROH in syndication, Championship Wrestling from Hollywood, ROW, and potentially Pop depending on the network.
