SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...
UFC star Ronda Rousey wants to win all gold available to her to go along with the UFC Bantamweight Women’s Title. That includes WWE’s Divas Title, she said during a media event Tuesday in California.
The only thing that might stop Rousey is time, as she also wants to be a boxing world champion.
“How that is possible to do, I’m going to have to figure that out but I am trying to figure that out. I think if anybody’s capable, I think that I am,” Rousey was quoted by Fox Sports. “I think it’s just a matter of prioritizing and timing and figuring out when I can do which, when.”
Rousey, who is promoting her next fight at UFC 193 on November 14, says she has already mapped out her gameplan.
“What I would love to do, I got an Olympic medal, I would want to retire from MMA as one of the greatest of all time, I would love to have the chance to be the boxing world champion, and I would love to have the chance to be a jiu-jitsu world champion. I’d love to have the chance to be the Divas world champion and just be the best of everything at one point,” Rousey said.
Current WWE Divas champion Charlotte got wind of Rousey’s comments and welcomed the challenge. Charlotte also endorsed the call for a new title, re-tweeting a comment from Lance Storm.
