WK QUICK BLOG: Booker T joins RVD in going after Young Bucks on Twitter, but why add size digs, too?

Booker T is taking digs at The Young Bucks on Twitter the last few days. It's quite a coincidence that Booker T is friends with RVD, and RVD is the first one to claim they never showed him respect. The Young Bucks fired back that they had, in fact, shook his hand and spoken to him, but in general he kept to himself so they, as junior members of the locker room, kept their distance.
I'm not saying that the Young Bucks have proper locker room etiquette. I'm just saying it's quite a coincidence that one of RVD's best pals in wrestling is now speaking out against them after their tryout.
I'm also skeptical of Booker T's motivations because he's singled them out and gone out of his way to talk about how small they are. "A friend RVD made comments a few weeks back... now I no why, i say a small tag team called the YB's did hay shake my hand no! Yes I said SMALL!"
His first post was: "To make it clear, I saw two small guys at tv this week, then I past them during the day, they never introduce themselves."
Why go after their size? This bias that heavyweight veterans have against smaller wrestlers is counter-productive to the industry. There's a ton of talent out there that is under six feet tall. As long as close-minded size-kings like Booker (who, by the way, isn't exactly a tall heavyweight himself, look down on smaller wrestlers who otherwise have talent and charisma, this industry is limiting itself needlessly. A lot of fans want exciting matches and totally accept smaller wrestlers fighting smaller wrestlers. UFC has taken great strides to incorporate smaller fighters into big money positions, and some of boxings biggest box office draws over the years have been well under six feet tall.
