SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...
This week’s Lucha Underground combined viewing audience hit a five-week high.
Lucha Underground Viewership Tracking
May 25: Lucha Underground drew a combined audience of 182,000 viewers, up 11 percent from last week’s Tuesday night viewership.
It was the most combined viewers since April 20.
The first airing drew 114,000 viewers, down from 127k last week.
However, the replay drew 68,000 viewers, up from 37k last week.
Overall, Lucha continues to see-saw between heavy viewership in the first airing and spread-out viewership over the live and replay airings.
– DEMOGRAPHICS: Lucha’s median age viewer was 44.8 years-old in the first airing, the youngest audience this year.
As a result, adults 18-49 viewership surged to the highest point in two months going back to March 23.
Lucha is still not drawing very many female viewers, though. This week’s split was 85 percent m18-49 and 15 percent f18-49.
Lucha has not touched the First Quarter average of a 77/23 split since April 20.
Interesting. Great point with the see-saw in viewership between original and replay. That’s been an odd fluctuation of viewership for the show this season.
