1 - NIKKI BELLA vs. ALICIA FOX

It is so refreshing to see Nikki without Brie, and knowing that I might actually see a non-tainted win.

There's an "Alicia Fox needs Dr. Shelby" sign to give me a laugh. Nikki's socks say "Thick Chick" which she most definitely is not. Nikki tries to bring Fox into the ring but Fox hot shots her. Northern Lights suplex into a bridge from Fox. Fox gloats as she wears Nikki down. Monkey flip and clotheslines, and a step up kick from Nikki. Facebuster gets two for Nikki. Fox misses a big boot in the corner, Nikki picks her up over the shoulders and drops to the mat for the win.

WINNER: Nikki Bella in 3:55. Without Brie to carry in the twins shenanigans routine, Nikki is starting to come into her own.

Post-match, Fox throws a temper tantrum, as well as her boots. Fox poses shoeless on the ropes to insult the audience.

Backstage, Zeb Colter coaches Jack Swagger on how they will insult Rob Van Dam, and says they are going to deport him to France.

2 - ROB VAN DAM vs. JACK SWAGGER

Wait, how did RVD make it from NXT to Superstars in the same night?

Swagger's size proves too much for Van Dam early on. Swagger switches to a control game, but Van Dam escapes and hits heel kicks then clears Swagger from the ring. Slingshot cross-body to the outside, then a slingshot leg drop on the inside for Van Dam. Van Dam goes to top but Swagger shoves him so hard he lands on the barricade.

[ Commercial Break ]

Swagger has Van Dam grounded out of the break. Van Dam fires up. Kick drops Swagger, but Swagger grabs Van Dam for the Patriot Lock to block Rolling Thunder. Van Dam is able to escape the Patriot Lock and drop Swagger with a kick to the head. thrust kick, but Swagger meets Van Dam on the top with a jump and a throw. Swagger reverses a wheelbarrow with a suplex for two. They are both bloody in the mouth. Swagger Bomb gets countered with a boot. Van Dam to the top, Five Star Frog Splash puts Swagger away.

WINNER: Rob Van Dam in 7:33. Is a match against Jack Swagger on Superstars really the best use of Rob Van Dam? RVD seems to be on the Tensai career path right now with his star power quickly dwindling. This match had a few moments that reminded me of Swagger's matches against the recently-released Evan Bourne, which were consistently excellent.
