Live from Detroit, Mich.
Aired on WWE Network

Report by James Caldwell, PWTorch assistant editor

WWE's first live, in-ring program from the main roster started with a lengthy review of last night's Raw, focusing on Daniel Bryan leading the crowd in "Yes!" chants, The Authority answering Bryan, but not agreeing to a Bryan vs. Triple H match at WrestleMania, and Kane taking care of the Authority's dirty work. Then, a look at the Raw main event, where chaos broke out involving Bryan, Batista, and WWE World champion Randy Orton. Then, a look at Triple H ending Raw by Pedigreeing Bryan.

Live in the arena, Kane's music played to bring out Kane dressed in dark dress pants, no tanktop undershirt this week, and dark elbow pads. Ringside, Tom Phillips and Byron Saxton introduced the show before Daniel Bryan emerged as Kane's opponent. Bryan walked out with a very stern look on his face as the crowd rallied behind him with "Yes!" chants. The announcers wondered what condition Bryan is in tonight after what happened last night on Raw.

1 -- DANIEL BRYAN vs. KANE

"Daniel Bryan" chants early on. Very shaky and dizzying ringside camera capturing Kane kicking and stomping Bryan in the corner. Bryan and Kane took the action to the floor, where Kane slammed Bryan back-first into the guardrail. Kane then wrapped Bryan around the ringpost, trying to stretch Bryan's shoulder. Bryan came back with a drop toehold into the bottom turnbuckle, then kicked Kane over and over. Bryan followed by wrapping Kane's left knee around the ringpost. Then, a round of dropkicks to the knee.

Back in the ring, Bryan executed a dragon screw legwhip to continue targeting the knee. More work on the knee, but Kane responded with a big uppercut. Bryan came back with kicks, but Kane responded with a big boot for a nearfall. The match cut to "break" at 8:00.

[Break]

Back from break, Kane continued to work on Bryan as the kid-heavy crowd picked up rallying "Yes!" chants. Bryan came back with a Tornado DDT after running off the ropes, then shook and shook trying to get the crowd behind him again. Bryan delivered Yes! kicks, but Kane cut him off again. Bryan ducked a clothesline, though, and dropkicked Kane into the ropes, sending Kane to the floor. Bryan followed with a suicide dive that took out Kane against the barricade.

Back in the ring, Bryan came off the top with a missile dropkick for a two count. Bryan started shaking again, then landed a round of Yes! kicks to the chest. Kane ducked a roundhouse kick, though, and hit a sidewalk slam for a two count. Kane followed with a top-rope clothesline, then called for the chokeslam, which the crowd booed. Bryan ducked the chokeslam, though, and popped Kane with a kick to the head. Bryan then came off the top rope with a diving headbutt to Kane's stomach for a two count.

At 16:00, Bryan delivered successive Yes! kicks in the corner. Kane answered with a forearm, though. Kane then tried to choke the life out of Bryan, but Kane released and Bryan kicked him in the face. Bryan followed with a top-rope huracanrana attempt, but Kane blocked. Kane then ran at Bryan with a snap DDT for a close two count. "Come on!" Kane shouted.

The crowd tried to rally behind Bryan again. Kane then went for a chokeslam, but Bryan slid down Kane's back and scored with a quick sunset-flip pin for the win. Bryan quickly left the ring as Kane threw a fit in the ring. "Yes!" chants all around in the crowd as Bryan celebrated from a safe distance on the stage.

WINNER: Bryan at 18:23. Interesting match. It was missing some energy due to this being the first TV match out of the chute at a Smackdown TV taping with the crowd slowly trickling into the building, so Bryan and Kane had to create some energy without the assistance of a warmed-up, packed crowd.

Video Review: The Usos's Tag Title victory over the New Age Outlaws last night on Raw. Tonight, the re-match.

[Break]

Next Week: Main Event will be live on WWE Network at 8:00 p.m. EST, which is an hour later since next week's Smackdown taping will be in the Central timezone. (Same with two weeks from now in Houston.)

Backstage: Josh Mathews approached Kane to ask if he's angry with himself for losing to Daniel Bryan. Kane said Bryan got lucky and he's more angry that "that misfit" keeps challenging Triple H for a match at WrestleMania. Kane said he doesn't even deserve a match with him.

In-ring: The Bella Twins were introduced for the next match. Alicia Fox's music then brought out A-Fox, along with Aksana, for singles action against Nikki Bella.

2 -- NIKKI BELLA (w/Brie Bella) vs. ALICIA FOX (w/Aksana)

Fox controlled early on, using a variety of holds trying to get a pinfall, but Nikki absorbed the attack. Nikki then made her comeback, drawing Aksana to the ring apron sensing her partner in trouble. This brought over Brie to yank Aksana off the ring apron, then Nikki dropped Fox with her Torture Rack backbreaker for the pin and the win.

WINNER: Nikki at 4:40. No sign of Divas champion A.J. Lee as of late, so the Divas division is just stuck in neutral at the moment.

Network preview: "Legends House" premiering in April.

[Break]

In-ring: New WWE tag champs The Usos did their standard ring entrance as WWE captured kids in the crowd chanting along. The Usos then entered the ring, where Renee Young was standing by to interview the new tag champs. Jimmy sent a message to the kids to work hard toward achieving a goal, like they did. Jey said everyone is on-board except for the New Age Outlaws. The Usos then vowed to take the titles all the way to WrestleMania.

The New Age Outlaws interrupted the celebration, bringing out Road Dogg and Billy Gunn dressed in street clothes. Dogg limped down to the ring with Gunn's help as the Usos locked eyes on their scheduled opponents. Once in the ring, Dogg took the mic from Renee and asked Gunn to show her out of the ring.

Dogg asked Gunn if they can feel this - no, not the sense of decay from this bankrupt city. But, a feeling of awe standing in the ring with the luckiest boys in the world. Dogg said they're going to have to postpone their Tag Title re-match due to Dogg suffering an injury on Raw. Dogg said they are not 100 percent, so they owe it to the audience, themselves, and The Usos to be 100 percent for their re-match.

Suddenly, Raw GM Brad Maddox emerged on-stage. Maddox said Dogg has indeed suffered a legit medical injury. So, when he is cleared to compete, the Outlaws will get their title re-match. But, they promised the audience a Tag Title match, so he would like to introduce the Usos's new opponents ... pause ... Los Matadores's music played. The Usos were unmoved in the ring. Diego and Fernando did their usual ring entrance before being joined by El Torito on the way to the ring. Meanwhile, the Outlaws joined commentary for the match.

[Break]

3 -- WWE tag champions THE USOS (JIMMY & JEY USO) vs. LOS MATADORES (DIEGO & FERNANDO w/El Torito) -- WWE Tag Title match

Dogg claimed a lower back injury on commentary. He was ice-skating after Raw. Meanwhile, Jimmy and Fernando had a pose battle to begin the match. Double dropkick attempt led to a stalemate. Jey and Diego then had a dance battle to continue the babyface vs. babyface playful theme. The Usos then double-teamed Diego to control the action. Bodies started flying on the outside, finishing with all four men selling on the floor.

[Break]

Back from break, Los Matadores controlled the action as the Outlaws commented that they can't comment on the match because it's moving too fast. Jimmy then popped Fernando with a standing sidekick to give the Usos control again. Suddenly, they teased Tombstone Piledrivers, but reversed each other's Tombstone before Fernando delivered a slam for a close two count. Fernando tried to follow, but Uso delivered a Samoan Drop for a two count.

Double superkick from the Usos, then Jimmy came off the top with a big splash. It was good for the pin and the win. Dogg said he will give it up for the Usos having momentum, but the Outlaws have wisdom and experience. WWE went to a review of the high points of the match before the Outlaws bailed from commentary as the Usos celebrated on the way out.

WINNERS: Usos at 9:43 to retain the Tag Titles. Basic match. The Usos have found their confidence and swagger, so they just need some real opponents to work with. The problem is the tag division is severely lacking at the moment, especially if the Real Americans and Shield split up.

Post-match: Billy Gunn shoved down El Torito as he helped Los Matadores recover in the ring. So, Torito jumped onto Gunn for a flying head scissors. Torito continued to play cat and mouse with Gunn, who eventually found himself staring at Los Matadores. Gunn tried to overcome the two-on-one, but took a flying splash from Torito to the crotch. Dogg then helped Gunn out of the ring to close the show. That was weird.
