[Q1]

-WWE open.

-Josh Mathews welcomes everyone to Smackdown, no pyro, no opening music video.

-John Cena makes his entrance, he lets the audience know that tonight is Friday. Before John speaks, Josh throws to a clip of Cena re-tweaking his knee against Dolph Ziggler last Monday. Cena still beat Ziggler even though his knee was hurt and there was a plethora of distractions. Back live, Cena wants everyone to know that tonight is “FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN!” John is excited to be on Smackdown and he is looking forward to the main event of Dolph Ziggler vs. Sheamus. Cena says that he is focused on Dolph because Dolph is so focused on Cena’s business and what is going on in his life. Cena notes that Dolph is a former World Champion for two minutes and that his greatest fear is that he is a grown man in a teenage girls body. Sigh. No, Dolph’s real fear is losing his briefcase and letting his chance at becoming champion again slip away. Cena hypes the main event again for tonight and says that it isn’t so much a match as a fight and a battle for his life.

Alberto Del Rio interrupts to massive boos. He tells Cena that he shouldn’t be worried about Dolph Ziggler because this is Del Rio’s show and his turf. Cena corrects him and says that the show belongs to the fans. ADR calls Cena “el stupido” because it is his show. Del Rio reminds Cena that last time they met in the ring, he beat and destroyed Cena. Del Rio gives John a chance to leave, but Cena declines because he is interested in tonights main event. He then says he also has a match, with Del Rio, now. Well, next.

1 - JOHN CENA vs. ALBERTO DEL RIO

Headlock from ADR starts things off, and it should be noted that Cena isn’t sporting jorts, but cargo shorts. He powers out and sends Del Rio to the floor. Alberto hangs Cena up on the top rope when he got back in the ring. Cena rolls to the far side of the floor from Del Rio, but Alberto stalks him and smashes Cena’s head into the announce table.

Back in the ring, Del Rio comes off the top rope with an ax smash. In the corner, Del Rio unloads knees to the stomach of Cena. Cena fights his way out of the corner, but gets whipped hard back into the corner. Del Rio mocks Cena’s “You can’t see me” and then kicks him in the head. Snap suplex by Del Rio as Dolph Ziggler is shown watching on from backstage.

[Q2] Del Rio works over the shoulder of Cena and tries a suplex, but it gets reversed by Cena, who suplexes ADR. But, Del Rio goes back to work on the arm. Submission hold by Del Rio, putting pressure on the shoulder. Smackdown cuts to a break during this exciting rest hold!

(Commercial)

Back live, Del Rio misses a second rope senton splash. Cena comes alive with running shoulder blocks and clotheslines. Suplex from Cena followed by the Five Knuckle Shuffle, he tries the AA, but Del Rio counters it into a Backstabber. Del Rio calls for the Cross Armbreaker, but Cena reverses into a swinging neckbreaker. Cena heads to the top rope, Del Rio meets him up there with a running enziguri, and it gets a two count.

Del Rio rolls to the apron and baits Cena over and puts him in the Cross Armbreaker with the ropes assisting. German Suplex by Del Rio almost puts Cena away, but Cena kicks out. Del Rio sets Cena up in the corner and tries a running baseball slide, but Cena pulls himself up and ADR goes into the post. Top-rope leg drop from Cena connects on Alberto Del Rio and it is enough to put him away!

WINNER: John Cena by pinfall in 16:14.

-Cena celebrates on the top of the ramp when Ziggler ambushes him from behind, hitting Cena in the back of the head with the Money in the Bank briefcase. Ziggler stares Cena down as he walks to the back.

- JBL commends Ziggler for taking no quarter and asking for no quarter. Josh Mathews switches gears to talk about The Shield. He asks JBL if he thinks they are working for C.M. Punk and he echoes what they said last Monday that what they don’t like, they will take care of.

[Q3]

-Backstage, Daniel Bryan and Kane are giving each other the evil eye. Kofi Kingston comes in and asks them to get on the same page for their match against Wade Barrett and the Prime Time Players. Both men sing the others praises, but with a sarcastic undertone to it. Kane and Bryan yell that “Yes!” they can get along.

(Commercial)

-Backstage, Cena is complaining to Booker T about being jumped from behind. He threatens to jump Dolph from behind the second he steps out for his match. Booker asks him to not ruin his main event and do him a favor. Cena agrees, since they go back so far.

2 - GREAT KHALI (w/Hornswoggle) vs. DAVID OTUNGA

Otunga poses to start, Khali clotheslines him and sends him to the floor. Hornswoggle cheap shots Otunga, Otunga chases him, but runs into a forearm from Khali. Back in the ring, Khali Chop puts Otunga away.

WINNER: Great Khali by pin in 1:15.

Mike’s Reax: This was a…match? How did this make the cut to be on the show this week?

-Khali and Hornswoggle dance in the ring to celebrate.

-Last weekend, Mr. McMahon and a small group of WWE Superstars visited troops overseas.

-Up next, Team Hell No and Kofi Kingston take on the Prime Time Players and Wade Barrett.

(Commercial)

[Q4]

-Jobber entrance for the heels this week. The faces get full intros.

3 - WWE tag champions TEAM HELL NO & IC champions KOFI KINGSTON vs. PRIME TIME PLAYERS & WADE BARRETT

Kane and Darren Young start things off. Kane backs Young into the corner and unmercilessly tees off on Young. He continues his assault and then tags Daniel Bryan in. Bryan kicks away at Young while the crowd chants “Yes!” over and over. Tag into Kane who connects with a low dropkick on Young for a two count. Kane continues to dominate Darren who gets a shot at Kane and then runs to his corner and begs Titus to come in. Kane dumps O’Neal out of the ring, tags Bryan back in, he running Knees Titus on the floor as Smackdown goes to another break!

(Commercial)

Kofi dropkicks Young when Smackdown returns. Kane gets tagged in and he continues punishing the Prime Time Players. Bryan is tagged in and he arm-drags Young with Kane in a double-team move. Titus blind tags himself in and sneaks up on Bryan and gives him a big boot. Spinebuster by Titus on Bryan. Young is tagged back and they double-team Bryan. The heels makes quick tags and use the five count to double Bryan. Camel Clutch by Barrett (uh-oh, is he stealing Jinder Mahal's move?), but Bryan counters out and then runs into a Bossman Slam.

Titus is tagged back in and he uses his knee to choke Bryan. The ref calls for a break and Young cheap-shots the tag champion. Young is tagged in and Titus suplex slams Darren Young onto Daniel Bryan for another two count. Northern Lights Suplex(!) from Darren Young gets a two count. Tag to O’Neil, who gives Bryan a series of backbreakers. Titus goes into a three point stance and charges Bryan in the corner, he gets the knees up and knocks Titus out.

[Q5]

Kane and Young get tagged in, then Kane dissects Young and then does a pre-emptive strike on the heel corner then sidewalk slams Young for a two count. Missile clothesline from Kane causes the heels and faces to get involved in the match. The ring gets cleared until it is only Kane and Young, Kane catches Young with a Chokeslam. Bryan tags himself in and headbutts Young from the top rope and then put him in the No-Lock for the tap out!

WINNERS: Team Hell No and Kofi Kingston by submission in 14:33.

Mike's Reax: Bryan and Kane seem to be a solid cohesive unit, as there wasn’t any untrusting looks or any other shenanigans from them this week. This was a solid tag match, kinda slow in spots, but it was okay for what it was.

-Matt Striker is backstage with Sheamus and Striker’s mustache is out of control. He looks like Yosemite Sam. “Smiley” Sheamus says that even though he is facing Dolph Ziggler, he will be imagining he is facing Big Show and that is bad news for blondie. Sheamus says that Dolph calls himself “the show-off” and he can walk around showing off his head when Sheamus kicks it clean off his shoulders. So much for serious arse kicking Sheamus, miles of smiles Sheamus was back in the saddle tonight!

-Up next, a recap of Monday Night Raw and all that happened last Monday.

(Commercial)

-Raw Rebound featuring C.M. Punk vs. Kane and how The Shield appeared to be watching Punk’s back. The Shield destroyed Ryback, Kane, and Daniel Bryan. Quotes from The Shield's interview with Michael Cole were played over their assault.

-Damien Sandow is out, he says that over the last few months he has attempted to enlighten the unwashed masses, but it has proven futile. Sandow states that he will no longer focus on the masses and he will redirect his efforts to everyone on a individual basis. Sandow will pick one person from the audience to be his apprentice. Sandow walks around ringside and insults a bunch of fans until he picks a fan in a C.M. Punk shirt and lets him into the ring.

[Q6]

Sandow tells the fans to stop cheering and pandering to the crowd. Sandow will ask the fan three questions to test his intellect. The first question is “How many wheels on a tricycle” the fan gets it right. The second question is “How many years until the U.S. holds a Presidential Election” and he gets it right. The last question is “What is the velocity of Jupiter's moon Europa” and of course the fan gets it wrong, so Sandow kicks him out of the ring, out of the building, and off the planet. The answer was 13.74 kilometers per second, by the way. Sandow tells the crowd “you’re welcome” as Smackdown takes a break. Sandow is in action, next!

(Commercial)

4 - DAMIEN SANDOW vs. TYSON KIDD

Tyson Kidd misses a high-risk move to the outside, Sandow rams Kidd into the apron, kidney first. Side Russian legsweep into the Elbow of Disdain by Damien Sandow gets a two count on Tyson. Sandow puts Kidd in what looks like a Tazmission, Kidd fights out and puts the boots to Sandow, he kicks Sandow in the back of the head. Sandow rolls to the floor, Kidd follows him out with a suicide dive. Back in the ring, Sandow blocks a springboard clothesline and then puts Tyson Kidd away with a Hangman's Neckbreaker.

WINNER: Damien Sandow by pin in 2:30.

-A John Cena Make-a-Wish video montage is shown. Cena granted 300 wishes and received an award from the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

-Backstage, Dolph Ziggler is being interviewed by Matt Striker. Matt asks if he has something to prove after losing to Cena on Monday. Ziggler hardly calls that a loss because there was so much happening on the outside to help Cena that it was hardly an even match. Dolph calls Cena the biggest liar and cheat in the WWE. Dolph also says that he is sick of being passed up and is being sick of being sick. Ziggler calls himself the next World Champion and he could care less what Sheamus sees when he looks across the ring.

(Commercial)

[Q7]

-The Usos are mid-entrance when Smackdown returns. I don’t know why they don’t show their Samoan dance entrance as it is unique and sets them apart from other teams in WWE.

5 - THE USOS vs. 3MB (HEATH SLATER & JINDER MAHAL)

Heath and Jey start things off, Jey backs Heath into the face corner, he rams a shoulder into the midsection, tags in Jimmy and Jimmy hits with a splash for a two count. Heath tags out, Mahal puts the Uso in a rear chinlock, Jimmy fights out and tags in Jey who takes out Jinder and Heath. Samoan drop on Mahal followed by a running knee in the corner. Heath and Drew distract the referee and Jimmy Uso, then double-team Jey. Jinder puts him away with a Full Nelson Slam.

WINNERS: 3MB via pin in 2:55.

-Last Monday on Raw, Big Show and Sheamus had a altercation then ended with Big Show showing off how tough he was by breaking a chair with his bare hands.

-Dolph Ziggler is out for his match with Sheamus, it takes place next!

(Commercial)

-Earlier tonight, Dolph Ziggler jumped John Cena from behind after his match with Alberto Del Rio.

-Sheamus makes his ring entrance, he is smiling!

[Q8]

6 - SHEAMUS vs. DOLPH ZIGGLER

Sheamus powers Dolph into the corner to start, then Dolph rolls out to the floor. Waistlock by Ziggler, Sheamus reverses into a headlock takeover and then a shoulder block. Dolph answers back with a clothesline, but Sheamus comes back with a series of right hands. Back-elbow by Sheamus and then a body slam. Sheamus drops an elbow on Ziggler, who then ducks a clothesline and shoves Sheamus to the floor. Ziggler tries a dive, but Sheamus catches him in mid-air and gives him a fall-away slam into the barricade!

Back in the ring, no Dolph rolls out, back on the floorSheamus chases Ziggler and whips him into the ring. Sheamus gets hung up on the top rope as Smackdown goes to a commercial break 3:45 into the match.

(Commercial)

Dolph hits Sheamus with a big splash in the corner when Smackdown returns. Dolph drops a high-elbow on Sheamus and gets a two count. Sleeper by Ziggler, and the crowd gets behind Sheamus who powers out of the move and slams Ziggler hard on the mat. Sheamus unleashes a series of right hands on Ziggler, then Ziggler ducks a haymaker and drop toe holds Sheamus onto the middle rope. Headbutts by Ziggler in the corner, and the referee pulls him off. Ziggler tries a charge, but Sheamus back drops him onto the apron and then ties him up in the ropes and clubs him ten times. Sheamus tries the Brogue Kick, Ziggler ducks, and Dolph DDT’s Sheamus for a nearfall. Ziggler sizes up Sheamus buts runs into a Irish Curse Backbreaker.

Both men are down and out. Sheamus is the first to get back on his feet, but he walks into a boot from Ziggler. Victory roll from Ziggler gets a two count. Ziggler counters White Noise into a pin attempt, but Sheamus rolls through and puts Ziggler in the Texas Cloverleaf. Big Show makes his way to the ring and he attacks Sheamus, causing the DQ.

Winner: Sheamus by DQ in 12:45.

-Big Show and Dolph Ziggler double-team Sheamus until John Cena hits the scene and sends Ziggler packing. Big Show tries a double Chokeslam on Cena and Sheamus, but they overpower him and double suplex Big Show. Show retreats and is livid as he heads back up the ramp. Sheamus and Cena play to the crowd as Smackdown fades out.
