TNA Impact TV news & notes 5/15

- In the main event, Eric Young's five-man team beat Kurt Angle's five-man team in a "Hardcore War" when Young pinned Chris Melendez following a piledriver.

Young was joined by the Beat Down Clan's MVP, Kenny King, and Low, plus mystery partner Bram. Angle was joined by Melendez, Bobby Lashley, and The Rising led by Drew Galloway.

After the match was over, EY ripped off Melendez's prosthetic leg and tried to use it as a weapon, but Angle stopped Young, only to take a blow to the head with the leg. Young choked Angle with the leg as Impact went off the air to hype their latest TNA Title match.

- The Wolves (Eddie Edwards & Davey Richards) beat Austin Aries & Bobby Roode in Match #1 of their Best-of-Five series for the vacant TNA Tag Titles. Eddie pinned Roode on a quick sunset flip.

- The Bro-mans resurfaced on TV with Robbie E. pinning Jessie Godderz three times. Jessie requested a restart after Robbie scored two quick pinfalls, then Jessie snapped on Robbie after losing for the third time.

- Magnus's feud with James Storm continued by brawling with The Revolution's Abyss. After the fight went on for a few minutes, other Revolution members jumped Magnus to help Abyss beat him down.

- The Knockouts Title picture is currently Taryn Terrell opposite Gail Kim. Taryn taunted Gail by trying to woo Gail's celebrity chef husband, Robert Irvine.

- Match Results: (1) The Dollhouse (Jade & Marti Belle w/KO champion Taryn Terrell) beat Houston & Dallas (Brooke Tessmacher & Rebel). ... (2) Mr. Anderson beat Tyrus (w/Ethan Carter III). ... (3) The Wolves (Eddie Edwards & Davey Richards) beat Austin Aries & Bobby Roode in Match #1 of their Best-of-Five series for the vacant TNA Tag Titles. ... (4) Robbie E. beat Jessie Godderz three times in a row. ... (5) Team Young (Eric Young & MVP & Kenny King & Low Ki & Bram) beat Team Angle (TNA World Hvt. champion Kurt Angle & Drew Galloway & Bobby Lashley & Chris Melendez & Mica) in a five-on-five "hardcore war."
