DGUSA dropped a bombshell today with this lineup, which is easily the best card they've put on paper in a long time.

The top two matches with Gargano defending the DGUSA Championship against top Dragon Gate wrestler Shingo and CIMA & A.R. Fox defending the Open The United Gate Championship against The Young Bucks are marquee matches that will give DGUSA an upper hand when it comes to fan attention on an extremely packed weekend of live events and iPPVs.

The Young Bucks opened up a feud with A.R. Fox during the most recent set of DGUSA events in January, so this is a fresh match for the company. Both teams are among the best tag teams on the independent scene right now and there’s a good babyface vs. heel dynamic with the Young Bucks bringing the PWG version of their heel act to DGUSA. The Young Bucks have targeted Fox and indicated that they want to win the Open the United Gate Championship.

Gargano-Shingo with the Open the Freedom Gate Championship feels like a huge match. Shingo is a top draw in Dragon Gate and he hasn’t appeared in DGUSA in a long time. He was a critical part of the early stages of DGUSA when he put on marquee matches with a variety of talent on top of several DGUSA cards. Shingo coming to the US and facing Gargano for the Open the Freedom Gate title feels like a huge deal given his history in DGUSA and his stature in Japan.

It is hard to imagine another company putting together a card this stacked during WrestleMania weekend unless ROH is able to bring in several guest talents to spice up their only iPPV offering that weekend.

The rest of the card is deep. Tozawa-Ricochet could main event most DGUSA cards. Callihan-Nation is an intriguing match because it's fresh and Nation was impressive before injuring himself at the first DGUSA WrestleMania weekend event in 2012. Nation is going to be looking to prove he hasn't lost a step in his first appearance in DGUSA in over a year.

At the last set of DGUSA shows in January, Kendrick was really impressive and is a welcome addition to this card. Kendrick seems refreshed and ready to be a contributor to DGUSA this year. He's charismatic and seeing what he can do with Rich Swann makes for another intriguing match on the card.

Rounding out the card is a Davis-Del Sol singles match and a Six Way Freestyle. Davis has been putting on good matches for months and Del Sol is looking to capitalize on his momentum from last year as a rising star in DGUSA. Del Sol improves each time I see him in the ring. The same can be said for Davis and seeing them matched up in the ring piques my interest.

Believe it or not, The Super Smash Brothers and rising Dragon Gate star EITA are listed on the talent roster and they don't have an announced match as of this date. The ingredients are all present for this to be a special show for DGUSA.
