- WWE TV personality Paul Heyman rejected the idea of TNA president Dixie Carter wanting to do a cross-promotion event. Heyman made the comment in a Payback PPV interview with Digital Spy, which got the quote from Dixie Carter about wanting to do a cross-promotion show but understanding that WWE would likely not be up for it.

Heyman Quote: "I'm sure that Dixie Carter would love to do a WWE versus TNA PPV. Why wouldn't she? A friend of mine who has way too much time on his hands just started a new beverage company here in the United States... He would like to do a global promotion with Coca-Cola. I don't suggest that Coca-Cola would be profitable having to do a global co-promotion with Shmuley's Soda Company. In the same way it would make no sense for WWE with 95% global share to do an event with TNA with its 5% global market share!"

- WWE acknowledged Bo Dallas capturing the NXT Title from Big E. Langston on this week's edition of the NXT Developmental show on Hulu Plus. WWE's website followed up on the title change with an article profiling Dallas, who disappeared from main television in February.
