Wake the pets and call the neighbors. It's time for our semi-monthly ROH internet pay-per-view preview column!

DISCLAIMER: Projections are made by myself and for myself with absolutely no assistance from Gary Juster, Nigel McGuinness or The Man With The Lizard Face. Projections are not predictions, because this is the column where everything's made up and the points don't matter. This preview has been sealed in a mayonnaise jar on Funk & Wagnall's porch since noon today. Some of our departing contestants will receive a supply of Hillshire Farms smoked sausage. Hillshire Farms sausages, slow cooked with natural spices, available in pork, beef and turkey. Remember, this is only an exhibition. This is not a competition. Please, please, no wagering. This lineup is based on the best available information as of this writing. These predictions are based on what the columnist would do if he had creative control over ROH, unless a better one-liner comes along.

Hey, you want a preview of the show? Sean Radican and I interviewed ReDRagon (Yum!) on the PWTorch Livecast on Wednesday. If you haven't heard it, it's new to you! Go download it from PWTorchLivecast.com and I'll be here when you get back.

Glory By Honor was really the first "supercard" ROH came up with in 2002. Everything today is built around a good, old-fashioned eight-man elimination tag match that has a two hour time limit. Ring of Honor pulled this off a couple of years ago in Greensboro, North Carolina and gave its fans a really, really long main event. Tonight is expected to be the same deal, except that a wrestler can get a future title shot by eliminating ROH World Champion Adam Cole during the match.

As for the storylines, well, why don't you enjoy the first part of last week's episode of Ring of Honor television? ROH taped it in Philadlephia, Pennsylvania, and the show kicks off with Mark Briscoe battling young Tadarius Thomas. Kevin Kelly and Nigel McGuinness have the call.

And without further ado, let's roll right into this month's Wrestling History Lesson. Twenty years ago, a small indy promotion was running a show in Philadelphia at a bingo haven called "Viking Hall." In 1993, NWA Eastern Championship Wrestling had a hot feud between Tommy Dreamer and The Tazmaniac. Do we have a copy of any of their ECW matches? Of course not. Do we have Tommy Dreamer and Tazmaniac facing off in January 1994 in a Michigan promotion called AAPW? Yes. Yes, we do. Is there a former Pro Wrestling Torch columnist on commentary? Yes, and it's not me.

And, as your free gift for viewing this column, let's take you back to February 19, 2005 and Ring of Honor's 3rd Anniversary Celebration in Rahway, New Jersey. It's Brian "Spanky" Kendrick taking on C.M. Punk. Yay! (Warning: Foul Language) Jimmy Bower & Mark Nulty have the call.

On with the projections!

I have no idea what the dark match will be for this show, but I hope Josh Alexander is involved.

Tomasso Ciampa vs. Jessy Sorensen: Young Mr. Sorensen has been cleared to wrestle. No, really. Would you have Sorensen come back from a near-fatal injury and have him lose in the opener? Yeah, I would. Projection Jessy get an up close look at Project Ciampa, and Tomasso gets the win and gets his momentum back.

Outlaw Inc. vs. Adrenaline Rush:I enjoy watching Thomas and ACH in action, but that's not what this storyline is about. Projection Homicide pins Thomas with the Aspiring Tag Wrestler Killer, and the Outlaws beat down the newbies after the match. Might as well go with what you know.

Jimmy Jacobs vs. Adam Page: I do love me a good Adam Page match, but this is setting up Jimmy Jacobs for his Trial Series final next week. Projection? Page shows some fighting spirit, and Jacobs makes Page tap to the End Times.

Mark Briscoe vs. Silas Young: Silas Young is having fun as a heel in Ring of Honor, but he's no match for Redneck Kung Fu. Projection Crazy Mark takes out Silas with the Cut Throat Driver.

Paul London vs. Roderick Strong: It would be nice if the intrepid Paul London could appear on a major show without getting stretchered from the ring. Projection? You know what? Roddy needs a win after being the designated opponent for several big name outsiders in 2013. Strong gets the duke with the Sick Kick.

Kevin Steen (w/ Lisa Marie Varon) vs. Michael Bennett (w/ Maria Kanellis) : Last year, it was Steen holding on to defeat Elgin in a hell of match at Glory By Honor. Not this time. Projection? Bennett wins after hitting a low blow. Lisa Marie attacks Maria, which prevents Bennett from hitting a postmatch piledriver on Steen.

Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, Kyle O' Reilly & Matt Taven (w/ Truth Martini & the Martinettes) vs. Michael Elgin, Caprice Coleman, Cedric Alexander & Jay Lethal (8 Man Elimination Tag Match): So, what's the main event of Final Battle 2013? I know what I'd do. Projection? Here we go. Cole beats Lethal with the Florida Key. Alexander pins Bobby Fish. O'Reilly and Coleman get counted out fighting each other. Taven pins Alexander. Elgin pins Taven. Cole uses a handful of tights to pin Elgin and escape unscathed. Until Jay Briscoe drops in to challenge Adam Cole for Final Battle.

Aftermath: Adam Cole vs. Jay Briscoe at Final Battle. You got that, right?
