- Sheamus vs. Damien Sandow in the middle of the third hour was that one match that every week just seems to go too long or feels stretched beyond what the wrestlers are able to do to keep the fans interested. The Sandow stretch of offense after the break just didn't have a sense of urgency or excitement to it.

- Tensai is so deceptively big, he actually made Ryback look average in size in terms of height and just overall mass. Ryback still is missing something in the ring that I think keeps fans from fully embracing him. He wrestles like he talks, in short sentence fragments with awkward pauses in between. There's no flow and not a real natural connection or energy exchange with the crowd.

- Michael Cole was really good on commentary during this Kingston vs. Barrett match. Lawler sounds refreshed, too. There's something to be said for having some time off. Too bad in WWE you need a health scare or injury or a ton of seniority to get it without great risk to your upward mobility.

- Regarding Antonio Cesaro beating Brodus Clay in three minutes, not that he can't eventually be recast, but Clay is pretty settled into a jobber-to-the-stars role at this point. Also, R-Truth was funny on commentary, in the way his friends have said he's funny off-camera. He's being himself and less scripted in the ringside commentary setting.

- Does a six-minute competitive match between The Miz and David Otunga bring Otunga up a notch or bring Miz down a notch?

- Cole, Jerry Lawler, and Titus O'Neil seemed to have an absolute blast on commentary during the tag match. O'Neil really showed personality here, too, and quick wit. He was quite likeable. I don't want to overstate it, but this could be a star-making moment for him, at least for those who weren't already on his bandwagon. At one point he just started rambling and Cole jumped in and asked, "What are you talking about?" If you just read some of the quotes during the exchange, it could seem offensive or offputting. The delivery, though, was so jovial it was like good friends giving each other crap, nothing mean-spirited at all.
