Wade Keller I know you could do a two-thousand page book and still not cover everything that happened or even deserved attention. One thing, and it might seem obscure to the reader or not of great interest to the reader, but for me I thought it was kind of interesting that Zane Breslof didn't get brought up because he worked really closely with you during the boom period. From a live event side of things, he really, I thought, did some things that WWE hadn't been doing, brought things from his experience in the rock 'n' roll business to Nitro in terms of the launch date of tickets being a really big deal and becoming an event. They may have your ideas, but he helped with the special location events and that type of thing, too.

Eric Bischoff: I don't think they were my ideas. Look, if there was an error of omission, certainly a conversation about Zane Breslof would have been one of them. I loved Zane. Zane was a great friend. He was a great guy. He would give you the shirt off his back. He worked hard. He was passionate. He was smart. He was great at what he did. He was 100 percent committed. And I loved the guy, quite frankly. I was devastated when I heard what had happened to him. (Breslof died in a car wreck.) If there was an error in omission, that would probably be it because Zane deserved a lot of more credit than frankly I gave him. The industry knows, in my mind at least, probably one of the reasons I didn't go into Zane was most readers wouldn't know who he is. Zane was a behind-the-scenes kind of guy. You guys knew him, but the average fan sitting at home probably didn't.

Keller: You had mentioned earlier in the interview that you questioned Vince McMahon's creative capacity. You don't question his business acumen, but you question his creative capacity. I'm curious if that was just a general statement or if that had to do with something you didn't get into in the book that I thought might have deserved a chapter, which is how Vince McMahon handled the acquisition of WCW. I'm curious what you think of how they handled the scraps that they purchased for a few million bucks after you were out of the picture?

Bischoff: My general observation about the creative in WWE - I can't watch it anymore. I'll tune into it because ...
