RADICAN'S TAKE
RADICAN SHORT: A little thing that bothers me each time I see it on WWE television Jun 20, 2009 - 7:26:54 PM
There are two or more wrestlers in the ring setting up an angle during the course of a regular show. WWE can be the example here since the following scenario happens all the time to set up future matches on WWE television. Here's what happens: wrestler A attacks wrestler B and surprises him while he is in the midst of cutting a promo and leaves him lying in the ring after hitting his finisher out of nowhere. Wrestler B doesn't get up or takes several minutes to get up.
Sometimes wrestler A will use an illegal object, but that doesn't make it any difference since stipulation matches usually don't end this quickly. I just saw this scenario take place on Smackdown 2 weeks ago with Jeff Hardy, C.M. Punk, and Edge all involved, so that's a little different since wrestler a (Hardy) took out both Edge and Punk out of nowhere.
The one question I have is why does this scenario never unfold in the first minute of any match? It should take more effort than that to get the best of a top guy!
