Pro Wrestling Torch was established in 1987 by Wade Keller. One of the primary traits PWTorch has been credited with over the years is assembling the best and most diverse staff of columnists with broad knowledge, but also areas of specialty where they have a particularly strong grasp of history. Every day PWTorch.com presents that team of writers answering your questions, some of which are fact-based and others of which are opinion-based. Either way, we've got you covered with Bruce Mitchell, Pat McNeill, Sean Radican, Greg Parks, James Caldwell, and Wade Keller. Collectively they have over 80 years working for the Torch, writing about wrestling and studying industry history and trends.
If you have a question you'd like us to respond to, send your question to askpwtorch@gmail.com. I, along with the Torch staff, will address you questions in this feature and also the “Ask PWTorch: All-Star Panel” edition which is also published most days here at PWTorch.

PWTorch reader V.R. asks: Hey guys, love the feature. When a wrestler holds multiple indie titles, is there any protocol regarding when and wear they can wear them? Matt Hardy, for example, currently holds titles from multiple indie promotions. What if he wanted to wear them all to the rings like the J-Cup Champions used to? Or would a promotion like Maryland Championship Wrestling not want him wearing the Extreme Rising Championship to one of their events?
PWTorch columnist Sean Radican answers: I think it depends on the company. J.T. Dunn & David Starr currently hold several tag titles and bring them with them to most shows that they appear on. Some companies are friendly with each other, so for example EVOLVE might acknowledge that Dunn & Starr are holding several different tag titles. I'm sure there are companies that don't like acknowledging belts from other companies, but usually it goes on a case by case basis. Michael Elgin has held multiple titles at once in promotions like AAW and AIW, but if he wrestles in PWG they don't acknowledge his titles in other promotions except for ROH. In short there is no real protocol other than a working agreement between promotions.

PWTorch reader Phil R. asks: Hi Wade and everyone. Long time fan. I particularly enjoy McNeill's PPV previews! I'd love to see Daniel Bryan back at the Royal Rumble, then on to face Brock Lesnar at Mania. My question is do you think WWE would go to the expense of bringing back his Europe theme tune for maybe one night only? That would be awesome! Thanks for your time and well done for all the hard work.
PWTorch senior columnist Bruce Mitchell answers: I don't think they will because, beside the fact it's just an awful piece of music, the vast majority of fans know his Kill The Rabbit theme, not the one he used before he became a phenomenon in WWE. Did I mention the fact Europe's "Final Countdown" song is awful?
PWTorch columnist Sean Radican answers: I don't see WWE bringing back that theme for him. The Final Countdown theme has no connection to his WWE character, so there wouldn't be a reason to use it because only his hardcore fans have a connection to that theme. The connection between fans of Daniel Bryan in WWE and that theme just isn't there to justify the expense.

PWTorch reader Uzoma I. asks: Roderick Strong has been in Ring of Honor longer than anyone has. He's the second Triple Crown in the company's history by being a Tag Team Champion with Austin Aries, World Champion, and Television Champion. Knowing this makes me ask this: If he decides to end his long ROH run, where should he go to? TNA or WWE? Thank you, PWTorch, your AskPWTorch section is still the best!
PWTorch senior columnist Bruce Mitchell answers: Those ROH titles Strong won mean little or nothing as to his marketability with either TNA or WWE. In fact, it means that he would come in significantly older than the rest of the NXT newcomers, and that's a liability. Frankly, if WWE wanted him they would have hired him years ago. As far as TNA goes, their ability to pay Roderick Strong or any other wrestler into the future is, as of this writing, yet to be determined.

PWTorch reader Forrest M. asks: ROH is currently my favorite promotion to watch. I know that WWE struck up a relationship with them for the C.M. Punk DVD, but they seem to have continued the relationship. It seems like ROH is another farm company for WWE. Why is that? What is their actual connection with ROH?
PWTorch columnist Sean Radican answers: There's is no connection other than ROH licensing the footage to WWE for a fee to use in their documentaries. ROH is owned and operated by Sinclair Broadcasting independent of WWE.
PWTorch senior columnist Bruce Mitchell answers: To my knowledge, there is no business relationship between WWE and ROH. It helps WWE to belay any antitrust concerns that ROH is in business and on television, although in today's business environment that May only be all that important. History teaches when a smaller wrestling company gets in bed with a lager one, that's usually the beginning of the end of the smaller one.
PWTorch columnist Pat McNeill answers: Think of Ring of Honor as a developmental company that doesn't cost WWE any money. Oh, that's not entirely fair. But, all things being equal, WWE would probably take a Ring of Honor guy over a TNA guy. ROH has a proven track record of churning out good wrestlers.
