Pro Wrestling Torch was established in 1987 by Wade Keller. One of the primary traits PWTorch has been credited with over the years is assembling the best and most diverse staff of columnists with broad knowledge, but also areas of specialty where they have a particularly strong grasp of history. Every day PWTorch.com presents that team of writers answering your questions, some of which are fact-based and others of which are opinion-based. Either way, we've got you covered with Bruce Mitchell, Pat McNeill, Sean Radican, Greg Parks, James Caldwell, and Wade Keller. Collectively they have over 80 years working for the Torch, writing about wrestling and studying industry history and trends.

If you have a question you'd like us to respond to, send your question to askpwtorch@gmail.com. I, along with the Torch staff, will address your questions in this feature and also the “Ask PWTorch: All-Star Panel” edition which is also published most days here at PWTorch.

PWTorch reader Mike from Chicago asks: Hey guys, love the site. My question is in regards to Vince Mcmahon and The Streak. After accepting that Taker's clean loss really happened, I couldn't help but think there's a hidden meaning. Do you guys think this is Vince McMahon's final way of screwing over the fans for making him and creative scramble to change the plans of WrestleMania and Daniel Bryan? I hate to be a wrestling conspiracy theorist, but I couldn't help but hear VKM's diabolical laugh as everybody was left speechless. What are your guys thoughts?

PWTorch columnist Sean Radican answers: I suggest you go VIP where you would be able to get the inside reasons behind Undertaker's loss and not be left to speculate and wonder about unfounded rumors and trains of thought.

PWTorch columnist Greg Parks answers: Something of this magnitude would not have happened had Taker not signed off on it, even if it was Vince McMahon's idea first. The Torch has a lot of background on what went into the decision for Taker to lose, so if you're not a VIP member, I encourage you to check it out for more details on the behind-the-scenes aspect of this. (Sign up here: www.PWTorch.com/govip.)

PWTorch editor Wade Keller answers: Yeah, if you read last week's PWTorch Newsletter, specifically Wade Keller's "Pg. 2 Radar" dedicated to this topic and listened to our in-depth VIP Audio on all of this, you'd have a better idea of what happened and why regarding that match and why there was no reason for conspiracies to make sense of what happened. And for VIP members who didn't read it, here is the direct link: PAGE 2 RADAR with WADE KELLER: Making sense of and making peace with the end of Undertaker's WrestleMania Streak.)

PWTorch reader & VIP MEMBER Cody from Iowa asks: Something I have always wondered was answered on Pat McNeil's livecast and the All-Star Panel, and I wanted to hear what everyone else thought..... Do you think "Dolph Ziggler" is always going to be "damaged" because of his ridiculous ring name?

PWTorch senior columnist Bruce Mitchell answers: No, it doesn't seem to be a factor with much of anyone. It just sounds like somebody's name. Boogie Nights was a long time ago.

PWTorch editor Wade Keller answers:I don't think it's a huge plus or minus. It's memorable, but a bit cartoonish. I think he has more pressing issues, including patterning himself too much as Billy Gunn and the younger heel Shawn Michaels and not enough finding his own style and voice. The ass-wigging on the stage is not a babyface move for the majority of the core male audience in WWE. A year ago he seemed like "The Future" and now he seems more destined for a Kofi Kingston type of career. He needs someone he trusts to give him some good advice and steer himself in a new direction, but it seems top management has lost faith in him as a priority to "figure out" and get to that next level.

===

PWTorch reader Jesse from Queens N.Y. asks: Hey guys, quick question. Would TNA benefit from having an additional one hour of television a week in order to develop storylines and different divisions? Thanks for taking my question!

PWTorch senior columnist Bruce Mitchell answers: Let me put it this way: a chef who doesn't understand baking bakes a cake that falls apart and tastes like crap. Should he try to bake a bigger cake?

PWTorch columnist Greg Parks answers: No. They barely seem to properly utilize the two hours they have, and they just don't have the numbers as far as the fanbase to make it work.

===

PWTorch reader Uzoma I. asks: I'm a fan of the Ask PWTorch Staff Panel and I hope that you continue with this for years to come. During his brief stint in the WWE, did Low Ki (known as Kaval in his time there) ever dreaded being paired with LayCool (Layla and Michelle McCool)? I've read on occasions that Low Ki never minded being paired with them and it, in fact, relaxed him. Is that true?

PWTorch columnist Sean Radican answers: We had Low Ki on the PWTorch Livecast in 2012 and he discussed that very subject. I suggest going VIP with us and you'll often find your questions answered directly by the source! Here is the direct link to the complete show from our VIP Audio library accessible to VIP members all the time: 3/21/2012 PWTorch Livecast & VIP Aftershow: McNeill & Radican interview Low-Ki & Gabe Sapolsky: DGUSA Mania weekend iPPVs, Ki's WWE run as Kaval, TNA, more

PWTorch columnist Greg Parks answers: Only Low Ki himself would know for sure, and if he says it, I have little reason to think otherwise. I'm sure pairing him with LayCool was a rib by WWE and a way to test him, but it was interesting to watch nevertheless. I think it helped him personality-wise to have the ladies to play off of.

===

PWTorch reader Clint from Lafayette, La. asks: Hey guys, this is a two part question: (1) Now that The Streak is over, what does this mean for future Manias?
(2) If Undertaker were given extra time between now and Mania 32 (supposedly in Dallas) to heal up, could we see the loss being avenged and have Undertaker retire in his hometown?

PWTorch columnist Pat McNeill answers: (1) It means Undertaker will not be wrestling on future WrestleMania shows. (2) That is possible, but not likely. I believe Undertaker is retired.

PWTorch columnist Sean Radican answers: I don't think so. TNA has plenty of time to tell the stories they need to tell, especially now that they only run 4 PPVs per year, but they've proven they're unable to develop satisfying long-term storylines. I think better management and a creative team that looked to serve the talent would improve the product more than an extra hour of TV each week.

===

PWTorch reader Jeff from Michigan asks: Why didn't WWE include footage of Undertaker confronting Brock Lesnar at a UFC event into their feud?

PWTorch columnist Greg Parks answers: It just didn't fit in with the story they were telling. Lesnar set out an open challenge and Taker answered it, much different than Taker challenging Lesnar at the UFC event all those years ago. Plus, it would be hard to tie that small incident into the feud we saw heading into WrestleMania.

PWTorch senior columnist Bruce Mitchell answers: They didn't have permission from UFC and they didn't want to ask.

PWTorch editor Wade Keller answers: Plus, does WWE really want to let their fan base know that Undertaker likes to attend UFC events? Does it help the match to show him out of character and out of costume? They just tend to shy away from doing much related to acknowledging UFC exists, at least in their TV storylines, and I don't blame them.
