TV Wrestling Viewership Break Down
Week of July 6

After Fourth of July Week brought down wrestling viewership, the pie grew this week. And, WWE still maintained its 90 percent share.

Raw, Smackdown, TNA Impact, ROH TV, Tough Enough, and Lucha Underground

- Total Live TV Wrestling Viewership: 8.023 million viewers. (90.4 percent to WWE.)

- Total DVR Added Viewership: 8.886 million viewers. (90.9 percent to WWE. The difference in percentage was mainly due to ROH TV not registering in the weekly cable TV rankings that accounts for DVR viewing.)

***

- Monday, July 6: WWE Raw's three individual hours averaged 3.647 million viewers live + same day.

DVR viewing then accounted for an increase of nearly 10 percent, which is good for Raw. This pushed the show's average viewership to just over four million viewers.

8:00 p.m.: 3.637 million live viewers, 3.994 million with DVR (+9.8%)
9:00 p.m.: 3.689 million live viewers, 4.068 million with DVR (+10.3%)
10:00 p.m.: 3.615 million live viewers, 3.948 million with DVR (+9.2%)

-SHOW AVG.: 3.647 million viewers live, 4.003 million with DVR (9.8%)
-LAST WEEK: 3.462 million viewers live, 3.755 million with DVR (+8.5%)

Overall, the July 6 Raw grabbed 45 percent of the total TV wrestling pie and also 45 percent of the week's total DVR-added viewership.

- Tuesday, July 7: Tough Enough Week 3 drew 1.221 million viewers live+same day.

Tough Enough added 272,000 DVR viewers to bring the total to 1.493 million viewers, easily the most through three episodes.

- Wednesday, July 8: Ring of Honor's first-run airing on Destination America drew 128,000 viewers. The West Coast/Replay then drew more viewers with 134,000.

Therefore, ROH drew a total Wednesday night audience of 262,000 viewers.

However, because the original airing drew a low number, it pushed ROH out of the weekly cable TV ranks, so we do not have DVR numbers for this week's episode.

- Wednesday, July 8: TNA Impact drew 353,000 first-run viewers, then 100,000 West Coast/replay viewers.

Therefore, the total Wednesday night audience was 453,000.

Impact then added 42,000 DVR viewers (down from the past two weeks) to bring the total audience to 495,000. This was up from Fourth of July weekend last week, but down from 550,000 total viewers two weeks ago.

- Wednesday, July 8: Lucha Underground drew 52,000 viewers.

However, the episode did not make the weekly cable TV rankings, so we do no not have DVR numbers to add to the first-run total.

- Thursday, July 9: WWE Smackdown drew 2.388 million live + same day viewers on Syfy.

DVR viewing added a pedestrian 193,000 viewers, bringing total viewership to 2.581 million viewers. The show just topped the Fourth of July Weekend episode, which was strengthened by DVR viewing.
