Tough Enough Exit Interviews

They gone.

- Week 5 (July 21): Patrick Clark, the pro wrestler, says he went into Tough Enough not wanting to be labeled an independent wrestler, but he feels like he represented non-WWE wrestlers well.

"The indies were the furthest thing on my mind while I was here. I didn’t want any connection to the indies because I know it may have a bad, a negative connotation with certain people in connection with the WWE," Patrick told AfterBuzzTV following his elimination. "But looking back on it I feel like I represented the indies well and I showed that we are full of passion and everybody out there, you know it’s not like we don’t take it seriously. I feel like so many independent wrestlers have given the indies a bad name because they’re not trained properly and they think they can just come up here and do it. And you know one bad apple ruins the bunch so I feel like I’m trying to create a new apple tree."

Patrick also said he hopes Z.Z. starts getting into shape after his "pep talk" on Tuesday's episode. By comparison, he noted that Josh has lost 30 pounds training in the WWE ring. "Z.Z. has yet to do anything and he’s just trying to step up halfway through the competition," Patrick said. "And like I said in last night's episode, it’s like a kick. A kick in the groin that he stayed and I went home." [ Video: Full Interview on AfterBuzzTV available HERE ]

- Week 4 (July 14): Gabi, the outspoken "heel" from Brazil, says she will not go away and plans to pursue a role in WWE.

"I’m not going to give up until they give me a spot on NXT and WWE,” she told reporter Scott Fishman. “That’s the future. I’m going to be a diva and that’s it. There is no other option. I want to do this forever.”

Gabi, who said at the end of Tuesday's episode that she was glad she got voted off the show, said it's not quite what she had in mind.

"Some people cry, but I just speak my mind and said what I said on the spur of the moment,” she said. I slept overnight and thought about it. Obviously, I’m not a quitter. If I stayed on the show, I would have never quit. I was just upset and that was my reaction. You will be seeing me around. That is pretty much it.” [ Full Interview HERE at ChannelGuideMagBlog.com ]

- Week 3 (July 7): Daria, the MMA fighter from New Jersey. Daria talked to Scott Fishman of ChannelGuideMagBlog.com about knowing that she was in trouble when she was included in the Bottom 3 with Sara Lee and Z.Z. because of their fan followings.

However, she feels like her future is in WWE, as opposed to exclusively in MMA, and she will consider wrestling training offers.

“Lance Storm reached out and a couple of other guys like the Monster Factory did as well,” she said. "There are these huge wrestling schools around the world. My plan is to take the best offer and start training my butt off and wait for that call from WWE and get a tryout. I will do whatever I have to do to get back in there. I know WWE is where I belong." [ Full Interview HERE ]

- Week 2 (June 30): Alex from Dallas. Alex continued this season's theme of calling out the editing process making contestants look a certain way.

Regarding his discussion with Patrick on believing he does not need to know the history of wrestling, Alex told AfterBuzzTV: "That conversation I had with Patrick was pieced up. It wasn't the full conversation so it made me look out to be like I hated the WWE, which was not what I wanted." [ LINK: Full Interview on AfterBuzzTV with Christian Rosenberg HERE ]

- Week 1 (June 23): Hank from Georgia. Hank talked to Brian Fritz of Sporting News about feeling like he was positioned to be voted off the show by the editing process.

"The show is called “Tough Enough” and I thought I proved myself in those challenges so I was very surprised (that I got eliminated), Hank said. "I kind of got labeled as a bad guy. I’m sure Paige probably thinks I’m a sexist now (laughs). That’s not who I am. I think every show needs a bad guy. I’m from the South. I grew up ‘Yes ma’am; No ma’am’ and always looked up to my mother and my grandmother, and my wife and daughter are so supportive.

"So to be kind of taken in that direction on the show left me flabbergasted, so to speak. I’m disappointed. I think to not be disappointed would be disappointing in yourself. I don’t think I should have been in the Bottom Three but life doesn’t always roll the way you want it to. You just have to learn to take the punches on the chin and keep going."
