WWE NEWS: Tough Enough'er Z.Z. not making first TV appearance - background on Z.Z. growing up around cameras & gators

One of the stand-out contestants from the new season of "Tough Enough," Z.Z., the gator-wrestler from Louisiana, is not making his first TV appearance.

As a teenager, Z.Z. appeared on a season of History Channel's "Swamp People" documenting his gator wrestling background. [ Video HERE ]

At an even younger age, little Z.Z. appeared on an episode of CMT's "Trading Spouses: Meet Your New Mommy." [ Video HERE ]

A report by the Houma (La.) Today publication profiled Z.Z. growing up around cameras and gators, which also included documentaries or local TV messages about the animal he is associated with.

"I hope this is a great stepping stone in my career," Z.Z. said of appearing on Swamp People in an interview two years ago. "I want to become a great alligator wrangler and I hope through the show people can see I'm capable of doing a job most wouldn't dare to do."

"He comes from long line of great hunters and great Cajun storytellers," said Z.Z.'s mom.

Z.Z.'s one-liners and personality certainly helped him stand out to avoid elimination on Week 1 of WWE's show. There's also more to Z.Z. than the show has captured thus far.

The newspaper report noted that Z.Z. often-times dresses up like Santa Claus and passes out toys to children and elderly people in his local hometown area.
