Quotebook from Recent Interviews

-- WWE Diva Paige on possibly affiliating with Paul Heyman on TV: "I would love that! I’m always going up to Paul and being like 'C’mon, Paul. Make me one of your girls. I’ll be the first ‘Paul Heyman Girl,' but hopefully, one day. I would absolutely love it!" [ LINK: Full Interview with CraveOnline.com HERE ]

-- WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels on his interesting connection to Steve Austin and The Undertaker: "The irony, well I guess with both of them, is Steve and I had big differences: he was the guy I was dropping the championship to at WrestleMania 14, which was supposed to be the last match that I ever had because I’d injured my back and had been told my career was over and again. To all these years later, to have him be one of the guys that wrote a foreword in this book ("Wrestling For My Life") and to be a guy who we talk on a fairly regular basis about hunting, our deer programs, our ranches and stuff like that.

"And then, of course, with the Undertaker, that’s the guy who I ended up ending my career with, my actual wrestling career; I had my last two matches with him and they were just so off-the-charts spectacular and we brought in a lot of our real aspects into it, my faith into it and it was just a wonderful thing. It’s an amazing moment to share those very real times with those guys and that's been, as I said, nothing short of spectacular." [ LINK: Full Interview on "The Rack" on WildTalkRadio.com HERE ]

-- WWE IC champion Bad News Barrett on the Davey Boy Smith's Hall of Fame chances: "In my opinion he should have been in there years ago. The Dynamite Kid is another one I'd like to see get in there. I think it's probably getting closer and closer, there’s only so many years they can go past without putting him in there. He was an incredible talent. I think he should have been a world champion, he definitely had all the potential in the world." [ LINK: Full Interview on The Josh Podcast HERE ]

-- TNA star Austin Aries on parlaying his "independent contractor" status with TNA into other lines of work: "Another nice thing with my job is that it allows me to travel a lot. It kind of allows me to locate and live where I want. I’m getting ready to head out to the City of Angels, getting read to head out to Los Angeles, which is a place I’ve been fond of for a long time. A lot of opportunity out there in the entertainment industry, the music industry and as someone who follows a plant-based diet, it’s very comforting knowing that there’s hundreds and hundreds of choices of vegan food within a 20-mile radius. Within the next month or so, I’m going to be heading out to L.A. and get settled out there and just having fun and get my hands in some different projects while I’m also competing on Destination America." [ LINK: In-Depth interview with Vaugn Johnson at Philly.com HERE ]

-- Former NWA World champion Dan Severn on pro wrestling vs. MMA: "I walk around with my four belts (three from UFC and the NWA belt) and people look at the NWA belt and ask, 'What's that?' When I say it's from professional wrestling, they say, 'Oh, you mean the fake stuff.' Why is that I've been hurt more in my rasslin' career than in all my UFC fights combined? Professional wrestling is a physical story with elements of give and take. If your opponent screws up, you get hurt."
