-- January 12: WWE Raw scored a 2.71 rating against the College Football Title game, only down three percent from last week's Raw.

The Title game averaged 33 million viewers; Raw averaged 3.904 million viewers, up four percent from last week's show. With so many people in front of their TV sets on Monday night, Raw's viewership was likely boosted by a number of irregular/casual viewers watching Raw for a brief period of time. (Viewership counts any person who watches a show for at least six minutes.)

Hourly Break Down: 4.095 million first hour viewers (most since December 1), 3.897 million second hour viewers, and another decline to 3.722 million third hour viewers.

Raw's demographic ratings were actually up compared to last week's show. Raw was up one-tenth of a rating in males 18-34 & 18-49.

Caldwell's Analysis: Considering the competition, WWE has to be happy with the result. They also loaded up next week's show with Legends returning for the pre-Royal Rumble episode to try to give the show a boost heading into WrestleMania Season without football competition.

-- January 5: WWE Raw scored a 2.80 rating to begin the year, rebounding from 2.6 and 2.5 ratings for the final two episodes of 2014.

The show averaged 3.762 million viewers, according to TVBytheNumbers.com, the most since December 1.

Hourly Break Down: 3.801 million first hour viewers, 3.888 million second hour viewers, and a sharp 7.4 percent decline to 3.599 million third hour viewers.
