WWE Raw on Monday, December 8 fell again to a 2.66 rating despite the Slammys theme, down from a 2.79 rating last week.

Raw has dropped 13 percent since scoring a 3.07 rating two weeks ago following Survivor Series.

It was the lowest rating since October 6 and second-lowest rating of the fall TV season.

-- Raw averaged 3.700 million viewers, down five percent from last week's audience and down 13 percent from the post-Survivor Series episode.

Hourly Break Down: 3.761 million first hour viewers, 3.811 million second hour viewers, and a sharp decline to 3.530 million third hour viewers.

-- On cable TV Monday night, Raw ranked #2 in overall viewers and in adult male demos behind Monday Night Football on ESPN.

Raw was particularly hit hard in the m18-49 demographic, dropping two-tenths of a rating from last week. Also, m18-34 was down one-tenth of a rating.

Raw also took a hit among general viewers, declining two-tenths in a18-34 and one-tenth in a18-49.

Caldwell's Analysis: The Slammys theme certainly was not a draw this year. Combined with WWE staying with the same ol', same ol' following Survivor Series after raising expectations for wholesale changes, it's apparent the audience has quickly soured on the product. WWE advertised one thing, they delivered another thing, and the audience is saying they'll come back when WWE implements real changes to the presentation. The rating should rebound next week for a post-PPV episode, but the same pattern will repeat itself without real changes.
