-- SURVIVOR SERIES RUMORS: With WWE desperate to create buzz for the free Survivor Series PPV on WWE Network, both Sting and Randy Orton are rumored for the event. The PPV is in Orton's hometown of St. Louis, setting up a big babyface pop if Orton were to return after being taken out by The Authority earlier this month as part of Orton's write-off to film a WWE Studios movie. -- SHEAMUS IN TWITTER BATTLE: Injured WWE star Sheamus and UFC fighter Conor McGregor duked it out over Twitter after McGregor told Sports Illustrated that he would beat his fellow Irishman, Sheamus, in a fight. Sheamus opened the Twitter battle by writing: "I don't hit featherweights or shoeshine boys. Mouth off to @BrockLesnar fella, I'm injured." -- BIG NEW JAPAN INJURY: Former WWE star Yoshi Tatsu (Yoshitatsu) suffered a neck injury at Saturday's World Tag League event, according to New Japan. Yoshi has been pulled from the tournament, which initially left Tanahashi without a tag partner, but IWGP Jr. Hvt. champion Ryusuke Taguchi has been named the replacement. Yoshi was reportedly working hurt and possibly tweaked the injury further in Saturday's tournament match. [ LINK: Report by PuroresuSpirit.com HERE ]

-- WRESTLING TV SERIES UPDATE: Paul O'Brien, author of the "Blood Red Turns Dollar Green" crime novel trilogy, provided an update on the series being turned into a U.S. TV series. “It’s quite surreal; for me, I enjoy every e-mail about it, every phone call. They flew me out to Hollywood, put me up in the Hollywood Hills, took me out to the Santa Monica Pier, showed me the pilot script, even let me write a few scenes;. For me so far, the adventure of Hollywood has been the opposite to what I have heard, which is they’ll take it off you, they won’t listen to you and won’t return your calls. I mean, at the moment, I talk to the producer three-to-five times a week about all sorts of matters regarding the TV series," O'Brien said on Wild Talk Radio. [ LINK: Interview HERE ]
