-BRYAN UPDATE: Daniel Bryan still has issues with tingling and numbness in one of his arms, so the surgery he was trying to avoid (which was turned into a storyline for the current season of Total Divas) may be necessary after all, as reported yesterday by the Wrestling Observer. This means he likely won't be ready to return at the Royal Rumble, which is a good thing if WWE doesn't plan for Bryan win the Rumble. Anyone who wins the Rumble that Bryan is part of is likely to face some sort of a backlash. WWE still has to deal with the possibility of fans expecting Bryan as a special entrant. There may be 40 entrants this year instead of 30, and if WWE doesn't list all 40, many Bryan fans will be assuming he's a surprise entrant. WWE would be smart to have Bryan announce his surgery and maybe even go so far as making him a guest commentator during the Rumble to completely eliminate fans' hopes he's an entrant.

-JUSTIN ROBERTS: Ring announcer Justin Roberts was released after Raw last night.

-NEXT WEEK'S RAW: WWE has already announced John Cena & Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins & Randy Orton & Kane for next week's Raw.

-TOTAL DIVAS: TVbytheNumbers.com reports Total Divas drew 975,000 and 882,000 adult 25-54 demographic viewers (Live and Same Day DVR views) and a 0.5 and 0.4 ratings for both episodes last night. The top cable show was The Walking Dead on AMC drawing an 8.7 rating among adults 18-49.

-SHANE DOUGLAS: Douglas continues to work indy dates. He is scheduled for the Nov. 15 In Your Face Wrestling event in Delanson, N.Y. against "The Pillar" Roman Dominguez.
