- WWE NETWORK AD SPONSORS: WWE Network subscribers will initially see ads from Pepsi, Mattel, and Kmart, according to a report by AdAge.com. After WWE announced Monday that ads will begin airing on the subscription-based WWE Network, the initial sponsor list was reported.

Pepsi owns the Mountain Dew Kickstarter brand that has been featured on WWE PPVs, Mattel owns WWE's toy license, and Kmart is a long-time WWE partner. Other advertisers have been slow to come on-board due to the lower-than-expected subscription rate for WWE Network. [ LINK: Report HERE ]

- NEW WWE HIRING: WWE has hired a new "Chief Digital Officer." Lou Schwartz will report directly to WWE CEO Vince McMahon in his role leading WWE's Digital Media division. Schwartz's responsibility will be "expanding WWE’s digital and social media presence and profitability," while also developing WWE's website, App, and social media presence. - CENA VIDEO GAME SOUNDTRACK: Prior to a spot airing on Raw, 2K Sports announced details on a soundtrack from John Cena that will be included in the "WWE 2K15" video game. "Personally curated by cover Superstar and music enthusiast, John Cena, the soundtrack will feature 12 unique tracks from established and rising artists that transcend several music genres, including hip-hop, rock, and country," according to a press release.

2K Sports also announced that "a companion soundtrack album made up of a selection of songs from the in-game soundtrack is set for digital release on October 21, 2014 through Atlantic Records." The companion release will include tracks from Cena, Wiz Khalifa, and Flo Rida. The country group Florida Georgia Line will be included in the video game soundtrack.
