Week 40 of Triple H's in-character sit-down interview series with Michael Cole focused on John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar for the WWE Title at Summerslam and the storyline arrest of his wife, Stephanie McMahon.

Hunter played up Stephanie's arrest that he cannot comment on her legal status and took umbrage to Cole asking how Stephanie is doing following the "arrest."

As for Cena vs. Lesnar, Hunter played up the storyline of his character picking Lesnar to face Cena because Lesnar is the man to fulfill his guarantee of a new WWE World Hvt. champion at Summerslam.

"I'm a step ahead of everybody. I'm a step ahead of everything," he said. "And, right now, Brock Lesnar will get the job done."

Cole quickly moved into stacking the deck against Cena and placing him in severe jeopardy of his career being at stake based on what Lesnar did to The Undertaker at WrestleMania.

"Perhaps he may have ended his career," Cole said of Lesnar's victory over Taker. Asked why Hunter would place The Franchise, Cena, against Lesnar at Summerslam, Hunter said it's good for business.

Hunter said he could hand-pick softies for Cena to make sure Cena keeps selling merchandise, walking red carpets, and has a nice, long title run, but his job is to push people to be better. C

"Cena has done a lot of things, but when the time comes, we will move on," Hunter heelishly said. "If that time is now because Brock Lesnar ends John Cena's career on the way or at Summerslam, then so be it."

As per the format of Hunter being in the dominating position, Cole offered no follow-up on how Hunter has tried to create an uneven playing field for Cena (and previous babyface champion Daniel Bryan) and his character is not truly interested in fair competition for Cena or Bryan.

The interview then closed with Hunter discussing the one-year anniversary of the Performance Center in Florida.
